This app was born out of the desire to build a comprehensive resource which would fulfil a multitude of functions. Infections are among the mainstay of patients’ complaints and continue to become increasingly complex. Within this complexity, needs to come clarity for frontline clinicians, whether that be treating infections in the community or in hospitals.
The Infection Guidelines app brings together the infection ecosystem from Primary Care to Secondary Care and beyond. We have designed some beautiful tools with immediate and significant relevance, which will transform the way that clinicians think about and manage infections within the clinical space.

Providing guidance to colleagues needs to go beyond simple providing them with information.
We appreciate the significant degree to which human factors play a role in the selection and dosing of antibiotics. To minimise the effects of human factors, we have designed all of our guidance to assist clinicians in arriving at the correct regime.
This will not only minimise error, but will save clinician time as well as the uncertainty which often accompanies prescribing antibiotics in different clinical situations.
Each guide is accompanied by a link to further information regarding the respective pathology to provide a greater understanding if required
Holistic Approach
Following empirical antibiotic guidelines is an essential aspect of managing patients infections when there are no culture results available. The management of infections however, goes far beyond just the management of patients.
It includes understanding the whole patient journey related to infection, which is why we have built some fantastic tools relating to Infection Control, Outpatient Antibiotic Therapy and understanding tests and results. Not only does this help the clinician in navigating the infection ecosystem, but also acts an invaluable learning tool.
Clinician Focus
Our experience in managing infections and undertaking antimicrobial stewardship has helped us to understand the pain points for clinicians when they are managing patients infections.

The infection guidelines are available to users on iOS, Android and the web. The apps are platform native and provide an excellent user experience.
As practising doctors, we are conscious of how much clinical teams across the NHS are stretched and so we want to remove the element of time and cost from you having to build the app or to make changes to it in the future. Our team will be happy to make all of those changes for you through a Service Level Agreement.
